Read these Terms and Conditions (this "Agreement") for important information about these email and text alert services ("text alerts"). Additional terms apply to the use of our website and online services and to the information we collect and use. These terms are set forth in our Website Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
SMS Program Information

Types of Messages: When you opt in to receive text messages from ALPA Insurance, you may receive messages related to:
Insurance quotes and pricing information
Application and policy status updates
Payment reminders and confirmations
Policy renewal notifications
Claims-related communications
Customer service and support messages
Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary based on your interactions, policy status, and account activity. You may receive multiple messages per week depending on your needs and preferences.
Enrollment
When you enroll in our text alerts using SMS or MMS you are required to provide your phone number with area code within the United States including the District of Columbia, for your mobile device. When you enroll in text alerts delivered through emails you are required to provide an email address. By enrolling to receive text alerts (via SMS, MMS or email), you agree to these terms and conditions, which become effective upon your enrollment. You may be asked to verify your mobile phone number before text alert services will start, which may require you to respond to a text alert sent to your mobile device confirming your enrollment in the text alerts service.
Privacy & Data Sharing
Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Your mobile number will be used solely for the purpose of the SMS program you have opted into.

Access & Security
You acknowledge that text alerts will be sent to the mobile device number or email address you provide to ALPA. Such alerts may include personal information based on the type of information communicated via the text alerts. To the extent that others have access to your mobile device, carrier account or email address, they will also have access to this personal information.
By enrolling in our text alerts services, you acknowledge that (i) you receive such information through an unencrypted method of communication, and that (ii) information contained in an unencrypted e-mail and/or text message is at risk of being intercepted and read by, or disclosed to, unauthorized third parties.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the terms and conditions of your mobile device contract. You are solely responsible for all message and data charges that you incur. Please contact your mobile service provider about such charges.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of text alerts at any time. To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you submit a request to unsubscribe, you will receive a one-time confirmation message, and you will no longer receive text messages from our SMS program unless you re-enroll.
We may, however, continue to send emails for transactions between you and ALPA.

Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. ALPA Insurance and mobile carriers are not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in the delivery of any SMS messages or the content of such messages that are beyond our reasonable control.
Service Availability & Limitations
Text alerts are offered on an "as is" basis and: (1) may not be available in all areas at all times; and (2) may not continue to work in the event of product, software, coverage or other service changes made by your wireless carrier. ALPA may change or discontinue any of its text alert programs without notice or liability to you. ALPA shall not be liable for any losses or injuries of any kind resulting, directly or indirectly, from any text alerts or from technical failures or delays of any kind. ALPA may stop delivery of text alerts to any person at any time in its sole discretion.
Arbitration
THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES THE MANDATORY ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES PROVISION THAT REQUIRES THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN JURY TRIALS OR CLASS ACTIONS. THE TERMS OF THIS ARBITRATION PROVISION ARE SET FORTH IN THE WEBSITE TERMS HERE.
